Press Release February 5, 2019

For immediate release.

Underground Pictures LLC and David L. Dirks are proud to announce the release of A LIFE CONTENT, a short film shot in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

A LIFE CONTENT, written and directed by Frank J. Fielder, is a surprising story of a young man living in an apartment that caters to his every need. But when the power goes out, he begins to question the world he lives in. It features theater actors Sara Rivera and Charlie Mitchell.

Fielder is a graduate of University of New Mexico, where he studied film. According to Producer David Dirks, “We had great fun making this short film with a one hundred percent New Mexico cast and crew. The film is entertaining because nothing is as it originally appears. Frank Fielder’s screenplay attracted me to the project as it reminded me of some of my favorite ‘New Wave’ type films by directors like Jean Luc Goddard and Francois Truffaut. We think audiences will enjoy it especially because it will make them laugh and think. It will be up to them to provide their own interpretations.”

Cinematography by Johnny Briggs. Casting by Paul Ford.

Running time 9 minutes.
